The 27th match of IPL 2022 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) got intense with both teams playing some great brand of cricket. After RCB put 189 on the board, DC also did well to cope with the asking rate. David Warner scored a brilliant half-century to keep the Capitals in the hunt. After Warber departed, DC captain Rishabh Pant took over the baton.
He kept scoring runs at a quick rate with some timely boundaries. With Pant looking in the mood and the game drifting from RCB's grasp, something special was needed to get rid of him. And Virat Kohli produced exactly the same. Kohli who had an off day on the field with the bat redeemed himself with a jaw-dropping fielding effort.
In the 17th over, Faf du Plessis introduced Mohammed Siraj into the attack. But Pant was in no mood to hold the onslaught for late as he smashed the pacer for a big six on the second ball of the over. On the third ball, Siraj threw it wide outside of the off-stump. Pant tried to take on as he threw his bat at the ball with brute force. The ball also hit the middle of the bat and looked to go over the covers fielder.
But Virat Kohli put his superman's cape on as he timed his jump to perfection to pluck the ball from thin air. Kohli grabbed the ball with his right hand as it seemed he was plucking a flower.

Bollywood actress and Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma was too present in the stands and was excited after the catch. Her reaction after the catch caught the attention of the fans on social media.
This catch turned out to be the turning point of the match as RCB then beat DC by 16 runs to register their fourth win of the season.
