Fielding has always been a crucial game-changing aspect in cricket, and Indian skipper Virat Kohli once again proved it. The Indian captain showcased his brilliance with a remarkable catch in the ongoing third ODI against England. The inspirational moment came in 40th over of the innings. Following a good-length delivery by Shardul Thakur, England batsman Adil Rashid lofted the ball towards covers, but what followed was a memorable catch.

Tracing Rashid's shot, Indian captain first stepped towards the front, misjudging the flight. However, he made up for the error immediately with a quick turn and then a full-stretch dive with his extended left-arm . The quick turn of events, despite being erratic, saw the ball land perfectly in Kohli's hands, who clinched it tightly. Moreover, the captain still held to ball after a roll post diving, helping India get the crucial 8th wicket. While record books may credit Shardul Thakur for the delivery, it was well and truly captain's dismissal.
