What a match this is turning out to be. In the IPL 2022 Eliminator both the sides are giving it their all which has made it a thrilling game so far. While Bangalore scored 207/4, Lucknow have kept themselves in the game despite losing 2 early wickets. For Bangalore though, it is Wanindu Hasaranga's spell that is turning the tide in their favour.
In a run-chase where Lucknow need over 10 runs an over from the word go. Hasaranga conceded just 10 runs off his first two overs. Moreover, he almost took a catch of the tournament in a high-pressure knockout fixture. The effort from the Sri Lankan star came in the 3rd ball of the 10th over.
Not only did the 24-year-old manage to cover good ground to reach the ball which looked to be flying over the fence but he plucked the ball and managed to keep his body inside the ropes before he threw the ball. The batters were so sure that it would be a boundary that they only ran 1. It was Deepak Hooda who played the shot and LSG were awarded just 1 run, courtesy of Hasaranga's effort.
