It's not over until it's over, they say. Yet it is easy to lose hope especially if the tide is against you. However, Stuttgart hoped against hope and managed to pull the rabbit out of a hat. With their match against FC Köln heading towards a 1-1 after Sasa Kalajdzic's first-half goal was cancelled by Anthony Modeste's second-half strike, Wataru Endo netted a goal in the injury time to help them clinch three points and as a result, stay in the Bundesliga for at least one more season.

Endo's 92nd-minute winner sparked off heartwarming visuals of celebration as it meant a great deal to survive in Germany's top-tier football league. Endo's goal meant that Stuttgart were now above Hertha on goal difference who faced a defeat against 2-1 defeat against Borussia Dortmund despite taking a lead.

Meanwhile, it was a day of farewells at the Bundesliga. While Haaland bid Dortmund fans and his teammates farewell playing his final match for them after his new deal with Manchester City was confirmed by the Premier League club, Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski also confirmed that he wants to leave the club.

Lewandowski confirmed to Sky that he has informed Bayern director Hasan Salihamidzic about his decision to not extend his contract with the club.

"I have a year left, but we have to find the best solution for both sides," the Polish striker said, as per Sky.

While there are reports which have already linked him to Barcelona, in case the successive winner of FIFA's best men's player indeed happens to go to Spain, it would be another massive moment in football. Till then, all eyes continue to be on him and all ears are open to any information regarding his future.
