The ongoing 2nd T20I between India and West Indies at Eden Gardens in Kolkata is delivering high intense battle between both teams. Forced to bat first, Rohit Sharma-led side struggled at the start but later found the right chords and put on a total of 186.

While Ishan Kishan's early dismissal (2 off 10) had put West Indies bowlers on the driving seat, skipper Rohit Sharma (19 of 18) along with Virat Kohli tried to steady the ship. However, when the duo appeared to be lethal, Rohit Sharma was caught by Brandon Kings.

Joined by Suryakumar Yadav, Kohli continued to play freely and displayed his top form after a long time. While Yadav could not accompany Kohli for long, the latter went on to hit a 41-ball half-century. Kohli's half-century was nothing sort of a treat to watch for his fans as the batter played some cracking shots.

However, Kohli's top-notch innings came to end in the 14th over of the match. Roston Chase's beautiful delivery escaped through the gap of Kohli's bat and pad and dislodged the bails. Kohli was left shocked with the turn and was forced to take a long hard walk towards the dugout.
