The incredible game of football often produces some moments of madness on the field which makes the sport so exciting to watch. The ongoing EURO 2020 has brought a lot of excitement around the sport as the cricket-loving nation is also enjoying the mouth-watering football action taking place in the tournament. Recently, a hilarious old-video from 2018 got viral on social media where the ball absolutely refused to go inside the goal.

Pin-ball stuff in football

During a Bundesliga match between Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin in 2017-18 season, the home side was awarded an indirect free-kick 5 metres from the goal. Leverkusen's No. 9 Leon Bailey was given the responsibility as his shot was cleared off the line by the defenders before it came back to him with his subsequent effort getting blocked and landing in path of his teammate who struck the crossbar.

The ball was still inside the box as a lot of pin-ball stuff followed before finally Hertha Berlin's goalkeeper took hold of the ball. Eventually, no goal was scored amid this crazy sequence of events as it took a moment and lot of replays for everyone to finally get to know what actually happened inside the box.
