Wrexham AFC managed to qualify for the final of the FA trophy with a scintillating two goals from their forward Paul Mullin in extra time against Stockport County. The 27-year-old hit an absolute stunner to start the scoring in the 91st minute as he chipped the ball over the Stockport keeper from 30-yards out.

But it wasn’t the goal that broke the internet, it was the celebration. Fellow forward Ollie Palmer went and kissed Mullin on the lips. This funny moment between the players was shared and lauded by Wrexham's Instagram handle with a caption saying, "We were all feeling the love for @paulmullin12 after that first goal yesterday!."

Check out the video for the celebration here:

After the match, Mullin talked about how Wrexham AFC owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have been sharing his goal everywhere. While speaking to BBC Wales radio, He said, “With Ryan and Rob [McElhenney, fellow owner] involved with the club, it's always a bit hectic around us. But at the weekend, that goal's gone viral and Ryan's putting it everywhere. My phone's not stopped doing backflips and I've had to put it on sleep mode to get some sleep.”

But it's surreal sometimes the type of attention that the Hollywood superstars bring to the club and the area, highlighting a lot of things in Wales and Wrexham. It's good to see and all the fans are on a high at the moment.”

“He said he'd never experienced anything like it and I often say to him that football gives you every emotion and it's impossible to describe how it makes you feel," Mullin added. I think Saturday gave him the feeling that he probably hadn't experienced before in life.”
