As India celebrated its 75th Independence Day on Sunday, the World Wrestling Entertainment stars did not miss out on an opportunity to wish their Indian fan base. Superstars like Stephanie McMahon, Charlotte Flair, Nikki A.S.H, Damien Priest, Bobby Lashley, Alexa Bliss, Eva Marie, Kario Kross, Seth Rollins were among the first ones to wish their Indian fans. In fact, Indian wrestling stars Shanky, Veer and Jinder Mahal were also present in the video and wished their fans in Hindi.

As many as 32 Olympic winners, 240 Olympians along with several Coronavirus warriors were honoured during the 75th Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort on Sunday. The theme for this year's event was "Nation First, Always First."

Coincidentally, the Indian men's cricket team was playing a Test match at the Lord's Cricket Ground while the country observed the national festival. However, the fans watching the match live from the venue couldn't quite subdue the patriot in them while cheering for the team.

During a particular passage of play, the Indian fans started singing the country's national anthem in unison as a gesture to mark the day as well as to motivate Virat Kohli & Co. With hundreds and thousands of people singing in unison, it made for superb visuals which are now doing the rounds on the internet.

Although ideally India would have loved to either be in a dominating position or wrap up a win at the Independence day against England, the match is brilliantly poised with all results looking possible as the final day's action is yet to commence on Monday.

While picked three wickets in the first session to put India on the backfoot, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane ensured the team did not lose even a single wicket in the second session to keep India alive in the match. While the team lost three more wickets in the final session on Day 4, they are still over 150 runs ahead with four wickets remaining.
