Yashasvi Jaiswal is having a tough outing in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. The RR opener faced another failure in the third successive game. In match 13 of IPL 2022 being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), Jaiswal failed to leave an impact yet again as he was clean bowled by David Willey.

In the second over of RR innings, Willey bowled a length ball that nipped inward a bit. Jaiswal could not cover the movement off the pitch and missed putting the bat to the ball and eventually saw his stumps going for a toss. He could only manage four runs off six balls in his third game of the season.

Pacers continue to trouble Jaiswal

This was not the first time Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed cheaply. The southpaw has failed to score big in all the three games he has played so far. And on all three instances, he has been dismissed within or around the first six overs itself. Also, he has found it hard against pace bowling as in all the three games he has perished to quick bowlers. In RR's first game against SRH, when everyone was smashing bowlers all around the park, Jaiswal failed to capitalize on the start he got.

He perished while trying to take on Romario Shepherd. He could not control his pull shot and could only miscue it into the hands of deep square leg fielder. In the next game against Mumbai Indians, he was not even allowed to settle as Bumrah got him early in the innings. Jaiswal chipped a leg-line delivery straight to the fielder placed at square leg.

In the third game against RCB, Jaiswal found another way to get dismissed. This time Jaiswal failed to defend his wickets and could only see his bails going for a toss.
