Thousands or even lakhs of young kids dream about playing the sport at the highest level but it is not easy for everyone to afford the expenses. While some accept their fate and drop the plan, some go beyond the limits to achieve their dream. And as it’s said, fortune favors the brave.
An example of this was seen on the streets of Nashville where a young boy (Niko) was taken by surprise when two Tik Tok stars gave him $1100 to help him in moving closer to his dream. In a video going viral on the internet, a boy (probably between the age of 14-15) is seen selling lemonade on the streets to collect money to fly to Portugal with his team. He is then approached by a Tik Tok star (Lexy Burke) who offers the boy $1100 for a glass of lemonade.
Seeing this, the young man just can’t control his excitement as he continuously thanks Lexy who reveals that the money came as a donation from people from across the city and the country. “This is $1100 and it is raised from tons of people around Nashville and the country to help you out,” explains the woman to Niko. The video of the incident was shared by Lexy on her Instagram handle.
In the video, the boy reveals that he has been invited to Portugal with his soccer team but as it required a lot of money to travel, he decided to sell lemonade on the street to earn at least half of the money required.
Earlier, the Tik Tok influencer had shared Part 1 of the video where she had randomly met Niko while she was passing through the street. She then asked the boy to stay there for a while. Lexy then asks people to chip in for this noble cause and as she reveals, the donation comes out as $600. Lexy and her friend give it to the boy after adding $500 from their side.
