During the run-chase, India Maharajas completely lost their way at top with score reading 34/3 in 6.1 overs, with Shoaib Akhtar bowling superbly inside the powerplay. The match looked almost done and dusted and this is when Yusuf Pathan walked out to bat who completely turned the game on its head.

The 39-year-old showed no nerves and just like the old times, he went berserk from the first ball and played some fearless cricket in the middle. His aggressive knock really reaped huge benefits for his side as India Maharajas paved their way back into the contest in matter of few minutes.

Yusuf Pathan smashed 9 fours and 5 sixes and batted at a phenomenal strike-rate of 200. He scored 80 runs off only 40 deliveries and notched up a partnership of 117 runs with Kaif, setting up the perfect platform for his side’s victory. The right-handed batsman was eventually run-out in a disappointing fashion, but the damage was done until then.
