Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is on a roll in IPL 2022. After moving from RCB to RR, Chahal has looked a different bowler altogether from the past few seasons. The right-arm leggie has already produced some scintillating performances in IPL 2022. But the best one came against KKR on Monday evening as the spinner took an IPL hat-trick.
Given the responsibility to bowl the 17th over in a tense chase, Chahal produced a gem of performance to dismiss three KKR batters on consecutive deliveries. He also took a total of four wickets in the over including KKR captain Shreyas Iyer who was looking to walk away with the game.
After dismissing Venkatesh Iyer on the first ball of his last over, Chahal dismissed Shreyas, Shivam Mavi, and Pat Cummins on the last three deliveries. Chahal was pumped with his achievement and thus backed with an epic celebration.
