The Royals' derby at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is getting intense with every passing over. It was a neck-to-neck battle right from the first overs of the Rajasthan innings. While RCB bowlers dominated RR batters for most of the part, Jos Buttler and Shimron Hetmyer did the damage in the last two overs to propel RR's score to 169.

The chase for RCB started well with the opening pair of Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat aggregating 48 runs inside the powerplay. The duo also went on to build a half-century stand. But their ex-player came to his current team's rescue as he got the big wicket of du Plessis. Chahal deceived Plessis with his flight. But that was not the interesting part about that wicket.

The celebrations that followed made it interesting for the spectators. As it was the first time Chahal was playing against RCB and he drew the first blood, he looked emotional. But more than him, his wife Dhanashree Verma looked elated. Verma started dancing in the crowd as soon as Trent Boult completed the catch cleanly.

Chahal finishes on a high

After a brilliant start with the ball, Yuzvendra Chahal kept building his spell. The leg-spinner did exceptionally well to finish the match with the bowling figures of 4-0-15-2. He never looked in trouble at any moment in the game. While all the bowlers were getting smashed all around the park by Shahbaz Ahmed and Dinesh Karthik at the fag end of the innings, Chahal sneaked in a 4-run over. He bowled two dots in the 17th over when things were looking tough for RR bowlers.

Although his team ended on the other side of the result, the leg-spinner impressed everyone with his lovely bowling. His second wicket in the game was the top moment as he got David Willey off a ripper.
