With just the final of the much-anticipated Indian Premier League remaining, the craze of T20 cricket continues with the onset of the marquee ICC event - the Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. But it’s not just this. The Women’s Big Bash League 2021 is all set to commence today to keep the women’s cricket in fray.
Overall, 59 matches will be played in the tournament with the final clash slated to take place on November 27. The last few editions of WBBL have seen some amazing T20 cricket with stars from all over the world playing in this competition.
As the new season is about to begin, there is excitement among the fans from around the world. Like in the previous seasons, eight teams will be participating this season namely Brisbane Heat, Adelaide Strikers, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades, Sydney Thunder, Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers.
Ahead of the start of the season, here are the details regarding how & where to watch the tournament in India.
When does WBBL 2021 begin?
WBBL 2021 will be played from October 14 till November 27, 2021.
Where will WBBL 2021 matches be played?
The first 24 matches of this year’s tournament will be played in Tasmania, before it moves to South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland. The last three places will host host matches at the WACA Ground, Lilac Hill, Adelaide Oval, Karen Rolton Oval and Mackay’s Great Barrier Reef Arena.
Where can one watch WBBL 2021 matches in India?
WBBL 2021 matches will be broadcasted live on Star Sports Network. This is fort the first time that all the matches will telecast on the television.
