Mumbai Indians' horror run in the ongoing Indian Premier League continued as they faced yet another defeat by Punjab Kings on Wednesday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Mumbai Indians remained winless in the ongoing season and are currently sitting at the 10th position in the points table.

The franchise, which enjoys a massive fan base across the country, has failed to live up to fans' expectations and faced flak from all around for its poor performance in the tournament. 'We miss old MI' was the top Twitter trend day after the franchise was defeated by Rajasthan Royals.

While fans trolled the five-time champions for their poor run, a few MI fans quickly expressed that they missed the match-winners, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya in the squad, who won several games for the franchise in the past seasons.

Check out a few such tweets.

Notably, Mumbai Indians let go the Pandya brothers ahead of IPL auctions and retained Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and Keiron Pollard. While Hardik Pandya was picked by Gujarat Titans and was appointed the captain for the 15th edition, Lucknow Super Giants secured Krunal Pandya.

Notably, Hardik's performance has also gained a lot of appreciation as he is contributing with bat and ball. On the other hand, Krunal Pandya has become a vital cog in Lucknow's squad by making a valuable contribution to the side, and the team has managed to win three out of five games.
