With just a few days remaining for IPL 2022 to commence, all eyes were on new-entrants Gujarat Titans. The Hardik Pandya-led side put together a formidable squad that featured star players like Shubman Gill, Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, Mohammed Shami etc. After the mega auction, there was only one major announcement left i.e. jersey launch.
There is always a bit of mystery and speculations around the jersey reveal of a new IPL team because people are usually very keen to see what's in store. On March 13, all the fans got their much-awaited answers as Gujarat Titans unveiled their jersey in front of everyone at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Fans go berserk on social media
As expected, the fans have gone berserk on social media following the new jersey launch of GT. Just like Blue and Gold are identification of MI, Blue and Red reflect emotions of DC, Gujarat have also gone ahead with blue colour in IPL, something which fans were not so happy about. While some loved it, others were disappointed in what was mixed reactions on social media.
