Jamaica while batting first in their initial game just managed 258 in the first innings with notable contributions from Brandon King, Rovman Powell and Andre McCarthy. Brandon King fell 3 runs short of a fabulous hundred but apart from his antics, no one really stood up in their batting order. Their bowling too lacked steam as they gave away the target in 40-odd overs in the 2nd innings against a strong Trinidad and Tobago.
For Windward Islands, it was the duo of Sunil Ambris and Kevin Stoute that stitched together a partnership to guide them to 284 while batting first which proved to be enough for the bowlers and as they won the game quite easily by 31 runs.
