Although the result of the two ODIs so far in the West Indies- India series has been along expected lines, West Indies have managed to put up a spirited show. This is the same West Indies team who were struggling to play all 50 overs in the build-up to the series that have now scored two 300-plus scores in the series.

In both these matches, the home team could have easily come out on top but the higher-ranked Indian team managed to find a way to win those games from improbable situations. Prior to the final match of the ODI series at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain in Trinidad here is what numbers suggest might happen in the final fixture of the series.

1. Toss Prediction

In the last 3 ODIs, West Indies have won 2 tosses while India have won just 1 in their last 3 matches. So based on this stat, predicting the home team to win the third and the final toss in the ODI series.

2. Win Possibility

While the Men from the Caribbean have been impressive in the series so far, India remain the favourites to win this match and complete a clean sweep over West Indies.

3. Team of the Day

On current form as well as head-to-head record, India are the easy pick for the Team of the Day. Having said that, the hosts have given the visitors a scare in both matches and it could be a similar story all over again in the final ODI especially if the Men in Blue decide to try out several players on the bench with the series already in the kitty.

4. Powerplay Score (First 10 overs)

57.5 is India’s average powerplay score in the first 10 overs in the 2 ODIs so far whereas West Indies have managed an average score of 61.5 in the powerplay in the 2 games. So expecting both sides to score over 50 in the third ODI.

5. Average Score

309.5 is the average score in the series so far. Both the earlier matches have happened at the same venue. One can expect another high-scoring thriller in the final match.
