New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell continued his incredible run of form as he scored an brilliant century in the second consecutive match against England. He came into bat when the Kiwis were poised at 161/3 and smashed an incredible century in 180 balls. The 31-year-old was batting with wicketkeeper Tom Blundell to stitch up a massive partnership of 236 runs. 

Tom Blundell perished just before the lunch session at the score of 106 but Daryl Mitchell continued batting as he ended the first session of the second day at 128 runs in 231 balls.
