England is all set to welcome the F1 2022 caravan with British Grand Prix scheduled for this weekend. The main race is scheduled to take place at the Silverstone Circuit this Sunday (3 July). Prior to that, drivers will test the track and their F1 machinery in the qualifying race and the three practice races which will take place across two days 91 July and 2 July).
Red Bull's driver Max Verstappen is owning the F1 2022 season with five wins from the last six Grand Prix to maintain a noteworthy lead over teammate Sergio Perez and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. While Lewis Hamilton has been struggling throughout the season and will look to better his standings, Mercedes George Russel has emerged as a strong prospect in the season after finishing in the top five in almost every race.
Although Mercedes had their best performance of the season in the recently concluded Canadian Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton finishing third and George Russel at fourth, they still have a lot of ground to make with their pace and in the title fight as Mercedes are 116 points behind Red Bull.
Notably, Russell and Hamilton are 64 and 98 points off Verstappen respectively in the drivers' standings. The upcoming race is going to be an exciting affair as the drivers are making it intense and thrilling as the season is progressing. The practice race on Friday might see some heavy rainfall at Silverstone Circuit as there is a 40 to 45 per cent chance of a shower. The temperature will fluctuate between 17 to 18 degrees celsius and a breeze of around 12mph is expected as well.

Rain: 20 per cent
Humidity: 57 per cent
Saturday will be a bit easy for the drivers as there is only a 20 per cent chance of rain on the day. However, there will be no ease in terms of humidity as the day is predicted to witness 57 per cent of humidity during the daytime.
