The 29th of April will see two games taking place in the ongoing Indian Premier League. The second match will be played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

With four wins from six games, Delhi Capitals are currently placed in third position whereas KKR managed to win two games out of six, placed at fifth in the points table. While DC had a stunning start, KKR had a poor beginning this season.

Delhi Capitals lost a nail-biting thriller by 1 run in their last game against Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Their openers - Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan have been in form. If in case they fail to do well, like the last game where Shaw and Dhawan could manage to score 21 and 6 respectively, their strong middle-order steps up, which helps them to recover.

Delhi Capitals' captain Rishabh Pant has been leading the pack quite well. In their last game against RCB, he scored a blistering fifty. He got good support in Shimron Hetmyer, who smacked 53* off 25 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes as well. Alongside the batting unit, their bowling unit consists of quality players like Amit Mishra, Avesh Khan and others. They are able to give a tough fight to the opponents.

On the other hand, there is KKR, who registered a convincing win against Punjab Kings after facing four consecutive defeats. Their opener Shubman Gill is currently out of form and other opener Nitish Rana too failed to do well in their last game. However, Rahul Tripathi's performance will be one of the positives for KKR whereas Eoin Morgan's 40-ball 47 will give him the much-needed confidence.

Meanwhile, Andre Russel and Dinesh Karthik's lack of consistency can be worrisome for KKR. As far as the bowling unit is concerned, both their spin and pace attack did well in the last game. Considering the game will take place at the same venue, they are expected to do well against a strong side like Delhi.
