The highly-awaited Ashes rivalry is all set to resume this December. England will take on Australia in the 5-match Test series. The Aussies retained the urn two and a half years ago after a dramatic 2-2 series draw in England. The Ashes 2021 will begin on 8 December 2021 at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Notably, wicketkeeper Tim Paine had stepped down as Australia skipper after a sexting scandal and the board had appointed Pat Cummins and Steve Smith as captain and vice-captain, respectively. At the official launch of the Test series, newly-appointed Test skipper Pat Cummins revealed Australia playing XI on Sunday for the upcoming first Test.
