Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday (April 19) at DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Both the teams have been in a good run throughout the tournament after winning four out of six games played till now. While Lucknow is placed second in the points table, Royal Challengers Bangalore are in third place.

KL Rahul’s unbeaten 103 against Mumbai Indians helped the side ensure a comprehensive win in their last fixture. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals with a superb knock from Dinesh Karthik and disciplined bowling from Josh Hazlewood. Lucknow franchise is studded with top-notch quality players who have been in great form recently.

The likes of Quinton de Kock, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis have stood tall for their franchise on various occasions, and that is why the Lucknow franchise is doing so well in their maiden IPL campaign. Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi have shown their potential in several encounters in the bowling department.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore have a few issues to resolve as their skipper Faf du Plessis, has not performed ever since the first game. Even Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli looked scratchy, and their inconsistency may cost the side. Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik have been in sublime form and taking care of batting single-handedly.

In the bowling department, they have the likes of Md. Siraj, Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahmed and Josh Hazelwood who have done well for the side. Wanindu Hasaranga is another watch out player from the side as he is a quality match-winner.
