The highly-awaited South Africa - India Test series is all set to resume after it was postponed by a week earlier due to the Omicron variant of COVID-19. India will take on South Africa in the 3-match Test series before ahead to play three-match ODI series.
It is to be noted that KL Rahul has been named the vice-captain in Rohit Sharma's absence. Rohit has been ruled out of the Test series owing to a hamstring injury. The three-match Test series is set to start at SuperSport Park, Centurion from 26th December with the second & third Test scheduled to start from 3rd & 11th January 2022, respectively.
