Indian boxer Amit Panghal is one of the top prospects to win medal for the Indian contingent in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022. Currently, the 5'2 tall Indian boxer is the world No. 1 in International Boxing Association’s (AIBA) 52kg category.

Amit, 26, started his boxing career in Rohtak, Haryana after being inspired by his elder brother Ajay Panghal. He is the only Indian male boxer to win the World Boxing Championships silver medal in 2019 and won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games.
