The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a platform where talent meets opportunity. The motto of the Indian T20 League also goes "Yatra Pratibha Avsara Prapnotihi" which roughly translates to what has been mentioned. There have been many examples that have put validation to this claim. Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, T Natarajan, Ishan Kishan; the list can go on forever.
In the biggest T20 League of the world, young talented cricketers get a chance to share the field with top cricketers of the globe and sometimes leave them surprised. But they found their savior in Ayush Badoni and Deepak Hooda. While Hooda was not doing it for the first time, Badoni was the new face for everyone. The 22-year-old was smashing Hardik Pandya and Lockie Ferguson for fun in the slog overs for fun. He hit a mammoth six against Ferguson to complete his first half-century in style. Also, interestingly, Ayush made both his T20 debut and IPL debut at the same venue i.e. Wankhede Stadium.
