Indian women weightlifter Harjinder Kaur won the bronze in the Women’s 71kg category at the Commonwealth Games 2022 and extended India’s medal tally to 9. After being almost out of contention, Kaur made a remarkable entry to the podium as her Nigerian rival failed in all her three attempts in the ‘Clean and Jerk’ category.
