Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) management handed a debut cap to Rasikh Salam on Wednesday against Mumbai Indians. The young boy from Jammu and Kashmir was handed his KKR jersey and cap from the senior pro, Umesh Yadav. Although it was not his first game in the Indian Premier League (IPL), it was his first game for KKR. Rasikh was earlier a part of the Mumbai Indians camp. Interestingly, he was handed his debut cap on his birthday.
In his first over on the day, the right-arm quick bowled good deliveries at a decent pace and also swung the ball. His seam presentation and inswing delivery were praised by the on-air commentators. Rasikh gave away only three runs in his first over. His first impressions were really good. But who is this small guy from Jammu and Kashmir who bowls really good inswingers?
