Simran Bahadur also earned a lot of praise for her heroic effort against Supernovas in the final of the 2022 Women’s T20 Challenge. Coming in to bat at No.10, Simran Bahadur played a terrific cameo of 20* off 10 balls to keep Velocity alive in the chase of 166.
The left-handed batter hit a hat-trick of fours against Pooja Vastrakar in the 19th over of Velocity innings to support Laura Wolvaardt who was fighting a lone battle with Supernovas bowlers. While bowling, Bahadur took two wickets (Priya Punia and Harleen Deol) in her four overs. She was also economical conceding only 30 runs in her spell in the big final. Overall, in the tournament, Bahadur took four wickets in two games.
