Suresh Raina is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in Indian Premier League. Also known as Chinna Thala for his long-term association with Chennai Super Kings, the left-handed batsman has been an integral part of the successful Yellow Army since the first season in 2008. However, CSK did not bid for him in IPL 2022 mega auction and as Raina got unsold, it was an end of era.

After Gujarat Titans' opener Jason Roy pulled out of the upcoming season in order to spend time with his family, the netizens have flooded the social media platform with posts suggesting the franchise to sign Suresh Raina as Roy's replacement.
Notably, Raina was the captain of Gujarat Lions when the last time a franchise based from the state was part of IPL in 2016 and 2017. With a veteran like him available, who is also loved in Gujarat, this could indeed be one of the most amazing signings of IPL 2022 if it goes ahead.
