The West Indies side after facing four consecutive losses (3 ODIs & 1 T20I) against India in this tour finally managed to get a win under their belt. The home team won the second T20I of the five-match series with the help of a 6-wicket haul from Obed McCoy and a stunning knock by Brandon King in the run-chase.

India's decision to bowl the final over with Avesh Khan instead of Bhuvneshwar Kumar did not help their cause as they ended up losing the match.

The Indian batting line-up this time failed to live up to the expectations as they failed to analyze the pitch conditions and were bundled out of 138 runs. Devon Thomas became the hero of West Indies at the last moment as he successfully finished a brilliant chase in the final over of the game and an untimely no-ball from Avesh Khan didn’t help either. Surprisingly, India's powerplay specialist Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled just 2 overs in this game.
