India defeated West Indies by a big margin of 119 runs (DLS method) to clean sweep the ODI series by 3-0 margin. India batting first posted a total of 225/3 in 36 overs, Shubman Gill was unfortunate to miss out his maiden ODI ton by just 2 runs as his innings got interrupted due to rain and was well supported by skipper Shikhar Dhawan at the other end initially. Shreyas Iyer smashed crucial runs at the end to boost the momentum of the team.

West Indies got a target of 257 runs to be chased inside 35 overs (DLS method due to rain interruption), but they lost this game without putting up a fight as their batting order collapsed for a total of just 137 runs. Mohammed Siraj in his very first over dismissed both Kyle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks for a duck while Thakur and Chahal completed the formalities for Team India to seal this ODI game. Among WI batters only Pooran and King got to a decent score of 42 runs with the bat.
