Team India pulled off back-to-back wins in first two one-day international against West Indies and sealed the three-match series. Shikhar Dhawan-led team India kicked off their white-ball tour by winning the series opener in Port of Spain on Friday (22nd July), followed by 2-wickets win in the second ODI at same venue on Sunday (24th July).

Both the matches have been high scoring game and cricket fans have witnessed some high quality game from both the sides. Although, West Indies have not been able to win a single game on their home turf, but their performance has been pretty good in first two 50-over games.

Meanwhile, second game brought the best of wicket-keeper batter Shai Hope who scored exceptional 115 off 135 deliveries to guide the hosts to mammoth 311/6 in 50 overs. West Indies skipper Nicholas Pooran also made valuable contribution with his 74 off 77 balls. While defending the target, West Indies kept dismissing Indian batters at regular intervals but it was collective efforts from Shubman Gill (43 off 49), Shreyas Iyer (63 off 71), Sanju Samson (54 off 51) and blitz knock from all-rounder Axar Patel (64 off 35) at the end sealed the series for Team India.

Although, team India has secured the three-match ODI series, both teams will assemble once again to lock horns in the third and final ODI on Wednesday (27th July) in Port of Spain.

Weather Forecast for 3rd ODI

Looking at the competitive cricket West Indies played in first two games, we can expect one hell of a cracking contest between both side. Although rain did interrupt the proceedings in second ODI for a brief, we witnessed a full game. Weather has been kind in first two games and some similar weather prediction is being reported for the final game.
