Season's most anticipated Grand Slam tournament Wimbledon 2022 is in full swing as the oldest and most elite competition in Tennis has reached its quarter-final stage. The end of the first week at SW19 saw 26 former champions assembling on center court to mark 100 years of the game at the iconic stadium. The tennis fans will once again witness the best of the tennis players crossing swords with each other in order to qualify amongst the best four.

Despite odd scares, defending champion Novak Djokovic is looking adamant to clinch yet another title, the honour which he has held for the last three years. The Serb played a couple of close games against Kwon Soon-woo and Tim van Rijthoven in the first and four rounds, respectively, but on every occasion, he has bounced back and proved why he is amongst the greatest of the players.

Djokovic will have a stiff challenge in the form of Jannin Sinner in the quarter-finals as the latter's style of play resembles more of the defending champion. Another top-seeded tennis player Rafale Nadal will be in action against 11th-seeded Taylor Fritz. Nadal's opponent looks easier on paper and should be an easy game for the French Open champion.

While Men's singles will guarantee an exciting affair, women's singles will be equally thrilling and hard to predict.
