David Warner is one of the most loved overseas players in India. And the Australian always gives back the love to Indians in form of replies or videos. But the Australian has been struggling with form in IPL 2021 and hence was also removed from captaincy midway in the tournament. The player, however, has always been supportive and cheered his team from the dugout. However, a very unusual thing happened in Hyderabad’s match against Rajasthan, which the former eventually won by 7 wickets.

Warner didn’t travel with the team

The Australian player was dropped from the squad after a string of low scores in the second phase of the tournament. However, the odd thing that fans noticed was that Warner was not even on the ground as a reserve. This prompted a fan to ask Warner personally on social media as to why he was not there, to which the opener gave a very shocking reply.

“Unfortunately, won’t be again but keep supporting please”, Warner replied. The comment shocked the SRH fans and experts and even commentators were discussing the situation during the match.

This will continue for few matches: Trevor Bayliss

After the match, reporters asked the same question to SRH head coach Trevor Bayliss as to why the international star was not with the team, to which the latter gave a strange reply that they wanted to give the youngsters, who were as reserves, a chance to see the match from the ground. Bayliss further added that this will continue in the coming matches as well and Warner will continue to stay in the hotel during matches.
