The month of July has begun and it seems to be a jam-packed season for the athletes with the World Athletics Championship and Birmingham Commonwealth Games coming ahead. The 22-member Indian squad will look to better their medal tally as they look forward to compete in the upcoming World Athletics Championships, scheduled to be held in Eugene (Oregon), USA.

The 10-day event will commence on July 15 and conclude on 24 July. While Neeraj Chopra will be looking to breach the 90m-mark with his javelin throw, Avinash Sable is another prominent name who set a national record earlier this year in the men’s 3000m steeplechase.

The 22-memeber Indian contingent also have the likes of shot putter Tajinder Pal Singh Toor, triple jumper Abdulla Aboobacker and others. Let’s look at the list of athletes participating in the marquee event and their events.
