After Pakistan's emphatic win over India in their first match of the ongoing T20 World Cup, Babar Azam's side were now ready for their second big game of the tournament on Tuesday. A victory against New Zealand in Sharjah could have taken them one step closer to the semi-finals berth and the Men in Green certainly came on the field with the same target in mind.

The bowlers once again put no foot wrong in the contest as they stuck to their plans to restrict the Kiwis to a modest total of 134/8 in 20 overs. Haris Rauf starred with the ball as he ended with impressive figures of 4-0-22-4. Although it looked like a flawless performance by the Pakistani side, there was one moment of blunder which stood out among all the good things that they did in the first innings.

Pakistan takes one of the worst ever DRS in cricket

It was the 19th over of the innings and Pakistan were on top of the game, with Kiwi batsmen struggling to get going. This is when Shaheen Afridi bowled a scorching yorker which hit the toes of Tim Seifert, way outside the leg stump.

The left-arm pacer thought that there was an opportunity for LBW and Babar Azam took the DRS, much to everyone' surprise. The on-air commentators could not believe that Pakistan were actually taking the review despite it looking very clear that the ball was way down the leg.

As it happened, replays confirmed that the ball was around two inches away from the line of stumps as Pakistan lost 1 of the 2 reviews they had in the first innings.

The netizens did not miss the opportunity to troll the Men in Green for one of the most shocking DRS ever taken in history of the game. While some termed it as a bizarre incident, some users sarcastically claimed that if these type of reviews are not taken then no one will get to know that Pakistan are playing.
