WTC-bound New Zealand players watch County game in England

The unending passion for cricket is nothing new for the its followers. Time and again we have seen various examples that show how the game is loved across the world. Even international cricketers never feel bored with the game despite playing it day and night.

A similar passion of the New Zealand cricketers is now being circulated on internet. The players, who are set to play two-Test series against England before facing India in the World Test Championship final, took a break from their training to enjoy the final day of a County game between Hampshire and Leicestershire.

New Zealand Cricket took to social media to share the pictures of the players watching the game and the images have now gone viral.

"These guys love cricket. Players and support staff taking in final day action between @hantscricket and @leicsccc," the Black Caps had tweeted.

New Zealand are slated to play two Tests against England. The first game will take place between June 2 and 6 at Lord's while the second game will be played at Edgbaston between June 10 and 14. The Kiwis will then get themselves ready for the WTC final against India starting June 18.

Meanwhile, the Virat Kohli led Indian team are currently quarantining in Mumbai from where they will take a flight for the United Kingdom on June 2 to play the Test finale against new Zealand.

It is worth noting that after the WTC final, Team India are slated to play a five-match Test series against England starting August 4. The series will see its last game being played between September 10 and 14. Reports suggest that the BCCI is planning to tweak the gaps between games in the series to make the month of September clear from India's international calendar so that it could host the remainder of IPL 2021. Some reports also say that BCCI has made a formal request to ECB regarding the change in dates of the series.
