Star couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are celebrating their fourth marriage anniversary. And on their special day, the two have shared heartfelt messages for each other on social media. While Anushka shared a series of pictures with Virat, in the caption she explained how he is the most secure man she knew.

The couple are parents to a daughter Vamika and have decided to keep her away from social media until the time she is old enough to understand what it is and its repercussions.

"There is no easy way out, there is no shortcut home. Your favourite song and words you’ve lived by always. These words hold true for everything including relationships. Takes tremendous courage to be the person you are in a world filled with perceptions & optics," Anushka captioned casual pictures of herself with Virat.

"Thank you for inspiring me when I needed it and for keeping your mind open when you needed to listen. Marriage of equals is only possible when both are secure. And you are the most secure man I know! Like I’ve said earlier, fortunate are those who really know the real you, the soul behind all the achievements, the man behind all the projections cast upon you," she added.

"May love, honesty, transparency and respect guide us always. P.S. : May we never stop goofin’ around. I love that about us ❤️," she concluded.

Later, Virat too shared a post on his account on the happy occasion.

"Years of you handling my silly jokes and my laziness ?. 4 years of you accepting me for who Iam everyday and loving me regardless of how annoying I can be," he started his caption.

"4 years of the greatest blessing god could’ve showered on us. 4 years of being married to The most honest, loving, brave woman and the one who inspired me to stand by the right thing even when the whole world could be against you. 4 years of being married to YOU. You complete me in every way, I’ll always love you with all that I have and more ❤️.

This day is more special as its our first anniversary as a family and life is complete with this little munchkin ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," he added.

Here is what Virat Kohli posted:

On the professional front, while Kohli had gone on record saying that he would want to continue leading the Indian side in the ODIs and the Test matches, Kohli lost his ODI captaincy to Rohit Sharma.

However, Virat will continue to be the skipper of the team in Test matches and will be in charge of the Indian red-ball side which tours to South Africa later this month. An Indian team has never managed to win a Test series in South Africa and under Kohli, the team would like to conquer the final frontier after having already registered wins in Australia and leading the series in England.

Kohli will also be determined to get back to scoring big runs with the bat, having last made an international hundred in November 2019. If he does so, the job of winning a series in the rainbow nation will become easier for the Men in Blue.
