There is hardly any doubt about the fact that Jasprit Bumrah is one of the finest all-format bowlers in world cricket at the moment. The Indian pace spearhead is a lethal option both with the new ball as well as when the ball gets old. Moreover, he is also the captain of the Test team which is facing England at the moment, showing the faith that the team management has in him and his leadership ability.

Yet it wasn't any of these qualities that have been Bumrah's biggest achievement so far on Day 2 of the Edgbaston Test. It was Bumrah the batter that made more headlines as he broke Brian Lara's record of scoring the most runs in an over in Test match cricket. Batting at number 10, Bumrah managed six boundaries off Stuart Broad's 18th over which went for a total of 35 runs, with the English pacer conceding 6 extras and Bumrah scoring 29 with the bat.

Since Bumrah's record came against the same bowler who conceded six sixes off Yuvraj Singh in the 2007 T20 World Cup, many fans and experts including cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar were reminded of the stylish left-hander.

Tendulkar took to Twitter to share a still from Bumrah's innings and wrote: "Kya yeh Yuvi hai ya Bumrah!? 2007 ki yaad dilaa di.. ? @YUVSTRONG12 @Jaspritbumrah93 #ENGvIND."

Here is Tendulkar's tweet:

Bumrah eventually finished with an unbeaten 31 off 16 and that has taken the Indian to team to a total of 416 after centuries from Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja. The Indian skipper returned to take two wickets with the ball in 6.3 overs that have been bowled as yet with the play coming to a halt due to rain. The 28-year-old bowled Alex Lees before getting his opening partner Zak Crawley caught in the slips. The Three Lions still lead by 385 runs.
