102:Yuvraj Singh mimics Ishant Sharma's voice to wish the latter on his 33rd birthday; video surfaces

Yuvraj Singh is known to be a jovial character. While he was a flamboyant stroke maker on the field during his playing days, he was also one of the biggest pranksters in the squad. Post his retirement from all forms of cricket, Yuvi continues to take a dig at the members of the Indian team with whom he shares a strong bond. The latest victim of Yuvi's sense of humour is speedster Ishant Sharma.

The lanky pacer who turns 33 today (September 2) was accurately mimicked by Yuvraj in an Instagram video which is now going viral. In the video, the 39-year-old can be seen speaking in Ishant's voice. In the video, Yuvi also wishes Ishant on behalf of former pacer Zaheer Khan. Later, he wished him lots of wickets ahead in his career.

"Just joking lambu ?! Many happy returns of the day ? . Lots of love and best wishes always! ? Hope you have a great test series @ishant.sharma29," Yuvraj cheekily captioned the post.

However, as it turned out Ishant was not included in the Playing XI for the fourth Test match against England. Captain Virat Kohli said at the toss that Ishant had a bit of a niggle which was the reason he could not make it to the final XI. In addition, Mohammed Shami has also been rested with a few niggles. Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur have come in place of these two pacers.

When asked to explain his decision of still not including the number 2 Test bowler in the world- Ravichandran Ashwin, Kohli said that England have four left-handers in their XI which makes it a good match-up for Ravindra Jadeja as the pacers bowl over the wicket making a good rough patch for the spinner.

Kohli also backed his batters to come good as a unit and said that the opening pair has done their job beautifully so far and if they can stitch in a couple of more partnerships then they will be in a position to challenge the opposition.

"It's about getting together as batsmen. A few days left on this tour, the series is poised beautifully, and no shortage of effort, for sure," he said at the toss.
