Yuzvendra Chahal is an entertaining character, both on and off the field. He is really active on social media and keeps sharing hilarious posts. The right-arm leggie was last seen on the field during India’s T20I series against Sri Lanka and will be seen next in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Having moved to Rajasthan Royals, Chahal will be seen in a new outfit this season.
As soon as RR roped in the spinner in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, a social media banter between him and RR’s official social media page had started. Chahal had warned the admin to be aware of him and it seems the leg spinner has taken up his task with the tournament opener a few days away.
The first one included him declaring himself as the new captain of the 2008 winners. A tweet came from RR’s Twitter handle on Wednesday which left many IPL fans surprised. RR shared a picture of Yuzvendra Chahal in the new RR jersey and wrote “Meet RR new captain @yuzi_chahal” in the caption. This baffled the RR fans as Sanju Samson was already announced as the skipper for IPL 2022.

The reply from Samson further fueled the rumor. While the fans were setting with this brand-new revelation, another tweet came with another shocking revelation. The tweet had Chahal’s picture while batting and had “10000 Retweets and He will open with @josbuttler uncle” written in the caption.

This was followed by another tweet involving Chahal. With so many tweets coming in such short intervals and involving only one player, the users doubted that something was wrong.
Yuzi handling RR Twitter handle?
While there were strange tweets coming from RR’s official handle, Yuzi Chahal was also engaging in the banter. First, he threatened RR to hack their account.
