Yuzvendra Chahal’s parents test positive for COVID-19

Chahal failed to make much impact with the ball this time during the IPL 2021 as he scalped 4 wickets from 7 matches played.

Day in and day out a number of cricketers are either losing their family members to this dreaded Coronavirus. Earlier it was former skipper MS Dhoni’s parents tested positive for COVID, after which a few of the cricketers lost their family members. In this it was India Women cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy, who lost her mother & sister in a span of two weeks, former India bowler RP Singh, who lost his father and a couple of other cricketers.

Chahal’s parents test positive for COVID-19

In the latest update from the cricketing world, it is RCB and India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal whose parents have tested positive for the virus. Chahal along with Dhanashree were in the IPL bio-bubble. But, the couple returned home after the tournament was indefinitely suspended.

However, Chahal failed to make much impact with the ball this time during the IPL 2021 as he scalped 4 wickets from 7 matches played so far.
