Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav and several cricket fans celebrated Riyan Parag’s 85* against Delhi Capitals. Rajasthan Royals locked horns with Capitals on March 28, Thursday, at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur. The game began with DC captain Rishabh Pant winning the toss and opting to bowl first. Rajasthan got off to a slow start and lost their openers within a difference of a few overs.

R youngster Riyan Parag, who batted at the fourth spot started his knock on an explosive note and within no time crossed the fifty-run mark. In just 34 deliveries, Parag smashed a brilliant fifty and gave the side a much-needed push. The 22-year-old hit a six off Mukesh Kumar's delivery to record another stellar half-century in his name.

The Guwahati-born cricketer, who has always found himself on his critics’ radar due to poor and inconsistent form drew appreciation from experts and fellow cricketers. This is how fans and other cricketers lauded the youngster for his batting.

RR finished their innings at 185 runs at the loss of five wickets, with Parag remaining not out at the score of 84 runs off 45 balls.
