Central Zone on Monday, September 8 announced updated squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2025 final. The Duleep Trophy final is scheduled to be played from September 11 to 15 at Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence Ground 1 in Bengaluru.
It is to be noted that the Central Zone advanced into the final after securing first innings lead in their drawn semi-final against the West Zone, whereas South Zone made into the final in a similar manner in their semi-final match against North Zone. But as the tournament nears its business end, they Central will field with four changes.
Yash Thakur, Harsh Dubey, Khaleel Ahmed and Manav Suthar to miss Duleep Trophy final
Ahead of the upcoming summit clash, the Central Zone have announced their revamped squad which sees as many as four changes. Vidarbha pacer Nachiket Bhute comes in place of his Vidarbha teammate Yash Thakur, whereas Kartikeya Kumar Singh joins the side for Harsh Dubey. The Central Zone has also drafted Madhya Pradesh pacer Kuldeep Sen and Rajasthan spinner Ajay Singh Kukna, who will replace Khaleel Ahmed and Manav Suthar.
Notably, the four players have been named in India A squad for the two multi-day matches against Australia A, set to be played in Lucknow from September 16. Followed by the two multi-day matches, they will lock horns in T20Is and ODIs.
