On Tuesday, September 9, following the conclusion of the SA20 2025-26 auction in Johannesburg, South Africa, the Joburg Super Kings have completed their squad for the upcoming edition of the league. After securing the services of five players ahead of the auction, the franchise added 13 more players to complete their squad ahead of the upcoming season, which will kickstart later this year.
Wiaan Mulder became their top buy on the auction table which saw them spend INR 4.53 Crore to secure the services of the 27-year-old all-rounder. They also roped in all-rounder Prenelan Subreyan, who recently was cleared by the ICC after his suspected bowling action.
Notably, the Joburg Super Kings already had retained their captain Faf du Plessis, and secured Donovan Ferreira as their wildcard pick. The announced James Vince, Akeal Hosein and Richard Gleeson their pre-signings. But after a dismal outing in the last campaign, they will hope to get through the tournament with some new faces in their ranks.
