The West Indies player, Justin Greaves, shocked the world when he played against Pakistan in the first test of the West Indies-Pakistan test series. Justin Greaves was playing the first test match of the West Indies- Pakistan test series for the West Indies. He totally destroyed the batting lineup of Pakistan in five overs. Each of these overs was a maiden over. He got a vital wicket in each one, which shows how accurate and consistent he is as a bowler.

Justin Greaves made history in Test cricket by becoming the player to bowl five consecutive wicket-maidens. He did this by bowling five overs in a row. The amazing thing started in the 64th over of Pakistan's innings when Justin Greaves bowled five dot balls and then got a wicket on the last ball. He kept going like this in the 66th over, where he changed his approach a bit and got a wicket on his ball.

After that he bowled four dot balls to finish the over without any runs. In the 68th over Justin Greaves kept putting pressure on the team bowling two dot balls before getting his third wicket on the third ball and then he bowled three more dot balls. The great bowling continued in the 70th over when Justin Greaves bowled three dot balls in a row, got a wicket on the ball and then bowled two more dot balls. Finally Justin Greaves finished his feat in the 72nd over by bowling five perfect dot balls and then getting his fifth wicket on the last ball.

Pakistan lose final seven wickets for 38 runs after Justin Greaves' historic spell in first test against West Indies

The first Test match between the West Indies and Pakistan at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy is very close after a lot of action on the day. The West Indies batted first. Scored 311 runs, thanks to Shai Hope who scored 92 runs and Kavem Hodge who scored 84 runs. Pakistan replied strongly led by their captain Shan Masood who scored 109 runs and Imam-ul-Haq who scored 63 runs. They had a partnership of 155 runs and were in control at 244-3.

Then the game changed completely when the West Indies bowler Justin Greaves bowled an amazing spell. Justin Greaves destroyed the Pakistan batting lineup. Became the first player in Test history to bowl five consecutive wicket-maidens. His best bowling figures of 5/27 caused a collapse with Pakistan losing their last seven wickets for just 38 runs and being all out for 282.

The West Indies had a lead of 29 runs after the first innings but they struggled in their second innings against a great spell from Mohammad Abbas. By the end of the day Pakistan's bowlers had reduced the West Indies to 126-7 which means the West Indies have a total lead of 155 runs going into the fourth day.
