Subhadeep Ghosh is a veteran Indian cricket coach and former domestic player from Digboi, Assam, who has emerged as a prominent figure in the national setup. Fondly known as "Joy" in cricketing circles, the 57-year-old carved out a reputation as a highly agile right-handed middle-order batsman. He was also a known off-break bowler during his competitive playing days.
Between the 1994/95 and 2004/05 seasons, he represented both Assam and Railways, accumulating appearances across 17 First-Class and 17 List A domestic matches. His notable quick reflexes and exceptional natural athleticism on the field laid a strong foundation for his eventual transition into elite coaching.
Over the last decade, Ghosh has built an extensive support staff resume, serving as a core member of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) coaching pool in Bengaluru.
