According to official statements from BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, the contracts of assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate and fielding coach T. Dilip with the Indian men's cricket team have officially concluded. Confirming the board's decisive stance on the support staff's future, Saikia told PTI, "We are not giving any extension to either Ryan Ten Doeschate and T Dilip."
The administrative decision marks a definitive end to their roles alongside head coach Gautam Gambhir, signaling a restructuring phase for the national squad's backend management. To address the sudden vacancies, the cricket board has already initiated a search process to secure new coaching personnel ahead of upcoming bilateral assignments.
Outlining the current steps being taken to rebuild the support setup, Saikia further stated to PTI that the "BCCI is in talks with two or three names to finalise new fielding coach for Indian men's team."
