On Tuesday, September 9, the South Africa T20 league, SA20 organised its auction ahead of the 2025-26 edition, which is set to get underway later this year. In the Season 4 Player Auction as many as 500 players went under the hammer for the 84 available slots across the six teams.
Following the conclusion of the auction in South Africa’s Johannesburg, the Pretoria Capitals completed their squad for the upcoming season. The franchise roped in the services of star player Dewald Brevis for a record breaking price of INR 8.31 Crore, making him the most expensive player in the SA20 history. Apart from Brevis, they also got one of the top spinner, Keshav Maharaj who was last seen leading the Durban Super Giants.
